Youth
Torger Christian Wolff, known as Toto Wolff, was born in Vienna in 1972 from a Polish doctor and Austrian father who came from Romania. Wolff was taught at French schools in Vienna. He only found his desire to race at the age of 18 years.
Career
Wolff began his motorsport career in 1992 at the Ford Austria formula championship. In the next two years he drove in the Austrian and German Ford formula. In 1994 he won the 24 -hour Nürburgring in his category. In 2002, Wolff took the sixth place in the N-GT category in the FIA GT championship and won the race. He turned to the GT Italian championship in 2003 and won a race with Lorenzo Case in 2004, while also competing with Karl Wendlinger at the FIA GT Championship. Wolff is a runner-up in Austria Rally Championship in 2006 and won 24-hour race in Dubai. Wolff also served as an instructor at Walter Lechner Racing School. In 2009 he was a round record holder in Nürburgring-Nordschleife with 7:03 minutes in RSR Porsche.
As an investor, Wolff founded Marchffeen in 1998 and Marchsixteen Investments in 2004, initially focused on internet and technology companies. Wolff has concentrated on strategic investment in medium and registered industrial companies since 2003. Participation including HWA AG Germany, where Wolff acquired 49 percent of shares in 2006. In 2007 the company was registered on the stock market. The company runs a German Master Touring Master Race program for Mercedes-Benz, developing an F3 engine and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 with a wing door. Further investment by Wolff Concern Brr Rallye Racing, one of the largest dealers of rally spare parts in Europe. Wolff is also a joint owner of a sports management company with former F1 Mika Häkkinen driver and is involved in racing driver management such as Bruno Spengler, Alexandre Prémat and Valtteri Bottas.
In 2009, Wolff bought shares at the Williams Formula One team and joined the Board of Directors. In 2012 he was appointed as Executive Director of Williams F1. In 2013, Wolff left F1 to become the Director of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 -Benz. Mercedes won the two F1 titles, the F2 title with George Russell, the European F3 title with Mick Schumacher, the three titles in the last season of the DTM competition where Gary Paffett secured the driver’s degree, both Esports F1 titles and many championships in sports customers.

Since Wolff joined Mercedes in 2013, the team has generated 66 percent of profits. Since the introduction of the Turbo Hybrid regulation in 2014, Mercedes has won 89 of 121 races under Wolff’s leadership. This team has 94 out of 121 pole positions, 58 front row locking and 179 of the 242 possible podiums.
Wolff is the Deputy Chair of the Mary Bendet Foundation, who was created to commemorate a school friend who is a role model for the generation of friends. This foundation is trying to give children who are less fortunate for a better life.
