Solve letters to CM Thackeray, President of the State Congress Nana Patole said the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi about truth, peace, and non-violence is respected throughout the world. The warning of his death was observed globally as a day symbolizing his teachings.
“If the movie ‘Why I killed Gandhi’ was allowed to be released on the day of Gandhiji’s murder, it would give strength to fascist troops. Therefore, we ask you to order a film ban,” Patole said.
AICWA is looking for a complete ban on the release of the film while trying to “glorify Godse, a traitor, and the killer of the nation’s father.”
